Guar gum, also called guaran, is a thickening agent that is made from guar beans. It comes as a white powder.
Besides use in food products Guar gum can be used to thicken dyes or mordants in order to be able to dye in specific areas and control the flow of the dye.
This product comes in compostable packaging and the packaging is made in the Netherlands. The 110ml pot is made from glass and so is not compostable 😉
