De lokstof (feromonen) verspreid een geur die mannelijke motten aantrekt. De motten blijven vastzitten op de kleefstrip en sterven. Zo kunnen ze geen vrouwelijke motten meer bevruchten en vermindert het aantal motten op natuurlijke wijze. Het aantal gevangen motten geeft inzicht in de omvang van een mottenplaag. De bijsluiter bij de mottenbox geeft uitgebreide informatie over verdere maatregelen, zoals het gebruik van de Aries Anti Mot spuitbussen met neemolie.
Eenvoudig en effectief
De lokstof werkt gedurende 12 weken na opening van de beschermende verpakking. De mottenbox bevat geen giftige stoffen en is daardoor overal goed te gebruiken. Werkzaam in een ruimte tot ongeveer 70 m2. De box is in gemakkelijk in elkaar te vouwen en de kleefstrip plakt je hierin zodat deze niet in aanraking kan komen met je wolvoorraad, kleding of textiel. Met de bijgesloten hanger kan je de box eenvoudig ophangen.

The attractant (pheromones) spreads a scent that attract the male moths. The moths stick to the adhesive strip and die. Therefore, they can no longer fertilize female moths and the number of moths naturally decreases. The number of moths caught provides insight into the size of a moth infestation. The package leaflet with the moth box provides detailed information about further measures, such as the use of Aries Anti Mot spray cans with Neem oil.
