Camel With Silk – premium fiber roving

Looking for a very special fiber to include in your felting, spinning or weaving project? Camel and Silk roving is an amazing fibermix that combines the proporties of Camel hair (beautiful light brown coloured soft hairs) with the shine of silk. This product joins our Wool with Silk and Yak with Silk as high-end specialist fiber for discerning artists.

Visually the roving looks like a gold river that fluffs up when pulled apart. It can be spun into a thread, either on its own or with other fibers. Alternatively it can be felted through wool to add intriguing textures to your wet-felting project. Finally, we like to include it in our Warp&Weave weaving projects as a almost metallic, shiny weave.
