The seeds of the achiote tree dye orange-yellow tones. The achiote tree is a small tree from Mexico, Middle- and South-America. The seeds can be farmed for the dye called Bixin Orellana.
It can be used to dye wool but also for instance butter or cheese into gold to orange colours.

Available in 100, 500 and 1000 grams.
This product comes in compostable packaging and the packaging is made in the Netherlands.

The achiote is a small tropical tree found in Mexico, Central America and Southeast Asia. The fruits of this tree contain seeds from which the red-yellow dye bixin is extracted.

This dye can be used to dye fibers from gold to orange.

De Orleaanboom is een kleine tropische boom die voorkomt in Mexico, Midden-Amerika en Zuidoost-Azië. De vruchten van deze boom bevatten zaden waaruit de rood-gele verfstof bixin gewonnen wordt. Daarmee kunnen vezels van goud tot oranje geverfd worden.
