Description

De Witte Engel 100 % woollen felt TrueFelt is one of our in-house brands.TrueFelt is made from 100 % wool from South American and European sheep breeds and manufactured in Europe. TrueFelt material is mulsing free. This 100 % woollen felt contains 70 – 100 % Merino wool combined with other soft European wool types. We offer TrueFelt in more than 80 distinct lively colours.

TrueFelt is Ökotex certified and dyed according to the European legislation code EN71 guidelines, which ensures that it is natural, sustainable, and free from toxic and harmful substances and colourants, and especially safe to use in children’s toys. Therefore, TrueFelt is also the natural choice for us to use in our DIY kits. It does not fray or stretch if used carefully. Because of the 100 % wool composition of TrueFelt, it is not flammable and can be used in multiple other applications as well, such as for architectural purposes as well as heat and sound insulation.

In comparison with other types of felt, TrueFelt truly stands out with its woollen and refined look as well as with its nice feel and heavier weight per meter (450 g/m). TrueFelt comes in two different thicknesses: 1-1.2 mm and 3 mm. Customers can purchase TrueFelt either in pieces of 20 cm x 30 cm, in strips of 20 cm x 183 cm or per meter X m x 183 cm.

The natural, un-dyed options of TrueFelt are called BioFelt. BioFelt comes in 6 earthy colours, directly from sheep into felt.

  • TrueFelt is een wolvilt dat gekleurd wordt met kleurstoffen die voldoen aan de EN 71, art. 1, 2 en 3 richtlijnen.
  • TrueFelt is veilig voor kinderen.
  • TrueFelt is wasbaar op een wolwasprogramma van maximaal 30 graden.
  • TrueFelt kan heel licht krimpen, maar dat is doorgaans niet meer dan 5%.
  • TrueFelt kan worden gestreken op een middelwarme termperatuur.
  • TrueFelt is vlamwerend en warmte- en geluidsisolerend.
  • TrueFelt is 100 % zuiver materiaal dus duurzaam en volledig recyclebaar.

Herkomst en veiligheid

TrueFelt wordt in Europa gemaakt van scheerwol uit Zuid-Amerika. De verfstoffen om het wollen vilt te kleuren voldoen aan de EN 71 norm. Hierdoor is het wolvilt veilig voor het maken van kinder­speelgoed.

Verschillende formaten

TrueFelt wolvilt is leverbaar in de volgende formaten:

  • Lapjes van 20 x 30 cm
  • Stroken van 20 x 180 cm
  • Van de rol per 10 cm met een rolbreedte van 180 cm (brutomaat 183 cm).

Kleurstalen

Je kunt bij ons een kleurkaart bestellen met kleine staaltjes echt vilt, zodat je de kleur goed kunt beoordelen. Zie daarvoor deze pagina.

Heb je voor een presentatie grotere stalen nodig, dan kan je gewoon een lapje van 20 x 30 cm in de juiste kleur bestellen
