Ground pine is an alum containing plant that can be used as a mordant and color enhancer.
Dried ground pines are available in packages of approximately 100 grams, 500 grams or 1 kilo.
This product comes in compostable packaging and the packaging is made in the Netherlands.
Ground pine (Wolfs claw) is not (yet) well known as a dye plant. Ground pine is a spore plant that remains green and grows on acid, dry and nutrient-poor sandy soil.
It is used, among other things, as a mordant and to enhance colors of other dyes. For example, it can enhance the blue of bluewood and dyes it green together with Dyer’s rocket.

Wolfsklauw is verkrijgbaar in verpakkingen van ca. 100 gram, 500 gram of 1 kilo. Dit product is verpakt in een composteerbare zak die in Nederland geproduceerd is.
Wolfsklauw is (nog) niet zo bekend als verfplant. Wolfsklauw is een sporenplant die groen blijft en groeit op zure, droge en voedselarme zandgrond. Het wordt onder andere gebruikt als beitsmiddel en om kleuren van andere verfstoffen te versterken. Zo kan het bijvoorbeeld het blauw van blauwhout versterken en verft het samen met wouw groen.
