Yak With Silk – premium fiber roving

Looking for a very special fiber to include in your felting, spinning or weaving project? Yak and Silk roving adds perfect silver texture to your project. The grey yakhair combined with the shiny white silk almost looks like mercury or silver and can be combined with wool to create wet felted textures. You can also spin it into a thread or weave it on for example our Warp&Weave loom! This product joins our Wool with silk and camel with silk

Visually the roving looks like a gold river that fluffs up when pulled apart. It can be spun into a thread, either on its own or with other fibers. Alternatively it can be felted through wool to add intriguing textures to your wet-felting project. Finally, we like to include it in our weaving projects as a almost metallic, shiny weave.
